How to Order

Buying industrial machines from China for the first time? Here is the standard process used across the industry — and plain explanations of the trade terms and payment methods you will meet. Where Kaige's own policy is still being finalized, we mark it [TBD] instead of guessing.

Send an inquiry

Tell us what you need via the website form, email, or WhatsApp: machine model, quantity, destination port, and your expected timeline.

Receive a quotation

We send a formal quotation based on your requirements, including trade terms and lead time. [TBD: quotation turnaround time]

Confirm the order

Once the model, quantity, price, and trade terms are agreed, we issue a Proforma Invoice (PI).

Every machine is fully tested before leaving the factory. You — or an inspection agency you appoint — are welcome to inspect the goods at our plant. [TBD: inspection policy]

Pay the balance

The balance is due after inspection and before shipment. [TBD: balance terms]

Shipment

We handle export customs clearance and arrange ocean shipment under the agreed trade terms. [TBD: port of loading]

Ongoing support & consumables

Our relationship doesn't end at delivery. We supply matching strapping bands, seals, and wear parts — remind you before you run out — and provide long-term technical support for your machine. You focus on your product; we handle everything that wraps it.

Trade Terms Explained

These four Incoterms decide who pays for freight and insurance — and where risk passes from seller to buyer.

EXW — Ex Works

You arrange pickup at our factory and take on all costs and risks from there on.

FOB — Free on Board

We deliver the goods to the port of loading and load them on board the vessel. You cover ocean freight and insurance.

CFR — Cost and Freight

As FOB, plus we cover the ocean freight to your destination port.

CIF — Cost, Insurance and Freight

As CFR, plus we cover marine insurance for the voyage.

Our default term: [TBD] (FOB is the most common default among peer exporters.)

Payment Methods

The two methods most used in machinery trade:

T/T — Wire Transfer

Deposit with the order, balance before shipment. [TBD: deposit ratio and balance terms]
Peer practice commonly seen: 30% deposit, 70% balance paid before shipment.

L/C — Letter of Credit

A bank-guaranteed payment instrument for larger orders. [TBD: whether accepted; at sight or usance]

Other Methods

[TBD: e.g., D/P, Western Union]
